Junked: April Product Funerals

10:10 PM

Sorry for being MIA. Between being sick and family drama, my motivation to write anything at all has gone down the drain lately. I'm back now with more of my trash! (Isn't it weird how we're interested in stuff like this?)

Anyway! I have more Product Funerals to share before I junk them. Only one of them is cruelty free, but the others were purchased long before I made the transition.
1.) L'Oréal Lumi Magique Concealer/Studio Secrets Magic Lumi Highlighter: Okay, I'm going to be honest here. I bought this in July of 2014. I bought this before it changed names! I remember because it was purchased the day before my mom was hospitalized over the 4th of July holiday. I should have thrown it out long ago, but there was still product in there! It's a decent concealer if you don't have very dark circles, so I used the hell out of this on my good skin days.

2.) Lumene Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover: I've gone through so many of these it isn't funny. It's undoubtedly the gentlest, most effective eye makeup remover I've ever tried, and it's cruelty free. Yay! I have another I'm using now, and I'll buy it again as soon as I start running low.

3.) Sally Hansen Insta-Dri: I have had this bottle for so long it isn't funny. I know I've had it since at least 2012, maybe earlier. The packaging has changed at least once, and I hadn't even used up half a bottle because you only need one coat. I finally had to throw it out because it became gloopy and gross.

4.) Maybelline Fit Me Concealer: I bought this about a year ago and finally just gave up. I used the lightest shade, Fair 15, and it still oxidized on me, so all the spots I was trying to conceal just looked... yellow. Not a good look. I did love how creamy it was, and it never clung to dry patches, but it's A.) Not cruelty-free, and B.) Doesn't match my skin. Pass, Maybelline. Maybe you guys need to make it happen
