Day 10: Houston, We Have A Problem (Okay, Yeah, But Not Really)

9:29 PM

More like I have a problem with hijacking catchphrases and using them in my blog posts, but I digress. This past November while my aunt was in town, we did a lot of sight-seeing, and while I adored the museum, I think my absolute favorite place was the Johnson Space Center.

I'm an unapologetic nerd. When other nine year olds dressed up as Barbie or Ariel from The Little Mermaid, I was Dr. Crusher from Star Trek: The Next Generation, referred to simply as TNG by Trekkers. (AKA Trekkies, but Roddenberry himself said the correct term was Trekker, and who am I to argue?) Going into space has always been an impossible dream, so I really enjoyed getting as close as I could to the equipment that took my fellow humans into the final frontier.

Okay! Ignore the tangent. Cold medicine makes me talkative. Here are pictures from the space center! I'm going to rewatch The Martian now.
